Rest in Peace Gayle. Hey to Carl and Laurie.
I was informed by Gayle McKinney Maw's son William that Gayle passed away this afternoon (7-5-2022) at about 3 PM. He asked if I would post it on the Ben Lomond Class of '63 website. I'm not sure if this is the proper forum? I sent Dave Pettingill an email as well.
You may remember that Gayle's husband Carl passed away in June of 2017 from effects of exposure to Agent Orange.
Carl and I enlisted in the Army on November 12, 1963, We were together the entire three years except after we landed at Cam Ranh Bay, Vietnam, his Company was transferred to Nha Trang, which is where he was exposed. The luck of the draw as they say.
I expect there will be an obituary in the Standard-Examiner. I'll keep watch for it and post it when I see it.
