Michael "Mike" George Davies
July 26, 1945 - February 5, 2023 (age 77)

Michael "Mike" George Davies was born in Glendale, CA. on July 26,1945 to Art Dudley and Lois Sharp Davies. He graduated from BenLomand High School in 1963.

Mike served in the US Army from 1965 to 1967, flying in Viet Nam withthe 101st Airborne (Screaming Eagles). He passed away from the effectof the defoliant, Agent Orange on February 5, 2023, at 77 years old.

Mike worked construction and was a Forman on many projects. In his younger years he sheared sheep with his brother Art. He ended his career at HAFB, retiring in 2007.

Mike loved horses and was a bare back rider in his younger days. Heloved to be on the back of a horse or mule with a beloved dog at his side.

Mike married Marjorie A. Coburn Satterlee Davies on June 17, 2006. Hereceived three bonus children, Gregory D. Satterlee (Monica), RichelleSatterlee Sloan (Brian) and Jyll Forbes Padilla. He was Grandpa Mike toBrooklyn Westfall, Aspyn Satterlee Taylor, Makayla Satterlee, DaphnePadilla, Desmond Padilla and Denver Padilla.

He was married to Leilani Grange. They later divorced.

Mike is survived by his wife Marjorie, brothers Art D. Davis, T. Allen(Sharon) Davies and sisters Joan D. Stevens and Jan Lyons. He is alsosurvived by Leilani and her son Darin Grange and family. Mike is also survived by his nephews Michael Davies (Lori) and Matt Davies (Mandy)and his niece Madison Davies (Tristan Loomis) and families, his bonusnephews Chris, Rob and Scott Hart. Mike is also survived by his beloveddog, Tinkerbell. Mike is preceded in death by his parents, sister JudyDavies, and bonus son Derek Grange.

Mike was a kind and loving person, generous to all. Mike was a goodfriend.

I personally would like to thank all the personnel at the George E. WahlenVeteran home for the care of Mike.

So many of our classmates have gone on after living full lives of love, family and service. Mike's life fit that pattern very well. Our pleasant visit and reminiscences at the 50th told convinced me he'd lived well.
