Maurine, I know you have been gone a long time but I just found your Obituary from 1977 and wanted to honor you by posting it for all of our Classmates to see. May you rest in peace!!
Thanks Dave for finding and posting Maurine's obituary. During our Senior year, Maurine and I worked In the take-out at Harman's Kentucky Fried Chicken. We had a great time together and became good friends. She was a positive and fun person to be with.
Maurine was in my ward growing up (same ward as Orluff, Roger Richins and many other old friends) and I always knew her life would be short due to severe diabetes. Sadly nowadays, the newer drugs and treatments might have kept her alive many more years. I was so glad she lived long enough for marriage and children, but sorry for them to lose her. Anybody remember her Dad? He was a barber who worked out of that little cement building on Washington and I think 4th street? And she had a brother two years older, (Arlyn? I think was his name), don't know about him now.
